If you make purchases through the Trailerfade Shop, we process billing information, shipping information, and order history. Payment card information is not stored by Trailerfade. Payments are processed by Stripe or other authorized payment providers.
Trailerfade may request microphone access during active hiking sessions. The application analyzes environmental sound characteristics to support features such as Invisibility Score, Trail Points, acoustic awareness indicators, and environmental event detection.
Trailerfade is not designed to record conversations for listening, surveillance, or playback purposes. We do not sell audio data. We do not use microphone access for advertising purposes.
Location data is essential to many Trailerfade features. Location information may be used to record hikes, calculate distance, display routes, support map features, and provide community functionality.
Location tracking occurs only while authorized by the user. Users may revoke location permissions at any time through device settings.
